Storm Ashley rocked the heavens across the country and provided an unforgettable light show. I placed my DJI Osmo on the window to capture some audio and video for potential future projects. Running at 60 frames per second in 4k, there are several stunning captures of the lightning happening right outside the bedroom window!
From deep darkness to instantly being as bright as daytime in the flash of a split second. Streaks and forks stretched across the sky reaching to the ground for a connection. I saw two connections where lightning made its grounding, this capture below is where Odin’s cast struck the 5G comms tower on Low Wood Road. A message maybe 🙂
Next time, I’ll be sure to be better prepared ready to get outside line up with some landmarks for some stunning photography.
