A new magazine (digital of course) was announced today called “The Intercept”, it’s short term mission is to get all of Edward Snowden’s info published to the extent they can and their longer term goals are to “provide aggressive and independent adversarial journalism across a wide range of issues, from secrecy, criminal and civil justice abuses and civil liberties violations to media conduct, societal inequality and all forms of financial and political corruption.”
The long term goals certainly sound like a noble venture and the people behind it certainly have their journalistic chops pretty well honed.
The question for me is how long will it be before they feel the heat from the U.S. Government? Will they attempt any due diligence on the info Snowden gives them or, will they just run with whatever he says?
